2014 Grants
On Nov 2 the Very Nice Brewing Company hosted a special annual awards event for the PPMEA featuring a performance of the Colorado Bluegrass Music Society's Young Pickers. The PPMEA awarded two grants. The first went to the Nederland Elementary School music department to use as matching funds for a grant for musical instruments for beginning kids. The other went to provide a scholarship for music lessons for a promising young local musician in need. The PPMEA thanks the Very Nice Brewing Company for its generous support!

PPMEA Gets IRS Recognition as 501c3
After a long wait the PPMEA finally got its official "Letter of Determination" from the Internal Revenue Service dated September 15, 2014 confirming acceptance of its applicaiton for non-profit status. All donations are tax deductible and we can now apply directly for grants!
Help us envision a NedFest that:

Fully funds our Nederland and Gilpin public school music departments and local summer music camps

Installs a fantastic sound system with dedicated power in the Community Center Theater so year-round musical and theatrical performances can be hosted with greater ease

Awards collegiate-level music scholarships to local graduating high school students showing promise and financial need

Is longer, cheaper, and has more opportunities for budding local musicians to perform!
